Festival Shows are large-scale, concert-rooted celebrations hosted by Celtic folk band, The Chivalrous Crickets. Festivals offer a riotous, theatrical place to celebrate, listen, sing, dance, play trivia, get up on stage for silly costume games, and socialize in the lobby over food, drinks, folk crafts, photo-ops, and face decoration. Guests are invited to dress for the occasion and to come ready to sit back and enjoy OR participate to the fullest extent.
These are events for the whole family! While we maintain a more traditional performer/audience set-up than Gatherings, we encourage guests to feel free to head to the lobby for refreshment refills at any time and not to worry about attending to the needs of children. We offer Lobby Activities and Stage Games especially for the young. Twelfth Night and May Day are our two current festival shows. May Day has an accompanying, special Mother's Day Gathering on a separate date. January's Twelfth Night is a unique, historic Christmastide recreation; the accompanying Gathering is on the Winter Solstice in December.
